  • Providing productive assets like bullocks, cow, buffaloes, bullock cart, oilengines, pipelines, agriculture equipments etc. to the PAPs for alternative income generation.
  • Providing vocational training to PAPs.
  • Formation of Self Help Groups (SHG) & Farmer’s clubs (FC)
  • Providing Group Insurance Policy to insure the PAPs against accidental death, fire, cyclone and natural calamities.

Self Help Group Activities
  • As on Year 2015,  there are 173 SHGs with 2347 members.
  • Most of the PAPs belongs to ST category.
  • Formation of Self Help Groups have helped to form saving habits, internal lending and to understand Banking.
  • R. & D. Cell has arranged training programme for Presidents/Secretaries of SHGs to acquaint them for maintaining their routine records.
Farmer's Club Activities
  • SSPA has encouraged farmers from RSSPA has encouraged farmers from R&R site to form the Farmer’s club with a view to making them self relient and to understand & use the modern agricultural techniques to get better yield.
  • NABARD is giving a grant of Rs.10,000 to each farmer’s club for first three years for training and conducting tour to learn new cropping techniques.
  • As on date there are 133 Farmer’s Clubs which take interest in modern farming techniques and they are advised by the specialists from the agriculture field for enhancing their yield.
Field Trip
  • Under the NABARD sponsorship, a tour was organised for 50 Members of Farmer’s Club from various R&R sites to visit at Agri. Uni., Anand during March 2012.
  • Similarly, in January-2013, 72 members from six Farmer’s club visited Agricultural fair & Exhibition at Sevasi organized by the Federation of Gujarat Industries, Vadodara.
  • During their visit, they saw the demonstration of Drip Irrigation & learnt about fruit and vegetable farming. They also visited the crop-museum.
